The first half of the episode retraces everything weve learned so far, but from Johns perspective.
He wasnt late to Debras gala because he was working, he was just eating gross tacos somewhere.
Yeah, we got that already, dude.
Tell us something we didnt know.
However, some really gory details emerge about Johns behavior that did make a dent in my cynical facade.
Wow, John really is a scumbag.
There are a few such surprises when we get a glimpse into what Johns life was really like.
He wasnt working as a nurse or doctor at all, he was just entirely a drug dealer.
And just what the hell were those fentanyl lollipops they were eating?
Yeah, John really will do anyone dirty.
That brings us back to Debra, who he is really doing the dirtiest of all.
That Goyard tote deserves better, John!
John is such a stunt queen.
He knows just what to do to push perception his way and hes always doing it.
Hes far from feeble.
My one question is, how the hell is John getting wi-fi in a trailer in the desert?
The world is not fair!

What did she think this was going to accomplish?
Debras naivete will never cease to amaze me.
Its about humiliating her.
Thats because shes a woman who exercised her power over him.
She is wealthy, successful, and has a family that loves her.
Johns ultimate dirty act this episode, however, is taking Debras Maserati and setting it on fire.
They dont even need to replace the upholstery.
He convinces them thatsheis the crazy one and he is the victim in all of this.
John is a master manipulator and he does it yet again to Debra.
Weve seen all about how he does it now and he only has so many tricks.
But Stan is afraid.
Its one thing if all of these attacks were arbitrary lashing out.
Its another thing for her to think that theyre all building up to something big and horrible.
And well finally get to see it in next weeks series finale.
