Disney has officially tapped Wes Ball to direct a new installment of thePlanet of the Apesfranchise.
Ball previously directed all three movies in theMaze Runnertrilogy.
It is also unclear if Serkis will be reprising his role in the new film.
TheApesfilms are produced by20th Century Fox, which wasacquired by Disneyback in March.
