(The trial itselfstreamed over multiple hours on Adult Swims website.)
So, the idea to treat it as a documentary that someone else might make came into being.
How do you expect people who arent familiar withOn Cinemato react to the movie?
But we did show it to people that havent kept up with all of our shenanigans.
And everyone just took it at face value and seemed to really like it and laughed and were intrigued.
Hopefully, itll be satisfying.
Its still going to be a niche comedy because of the kind of comedy it is anyway.
Its not a feel-good movie.
Its not a movie where, you know, theres sympathetic characters.

I dont think its meant as a derogatory term.
We use a different set of tools, you know?
But ultimately, I feel a connection fromMister AmericatoSpinal Tapin a very real way.
Its playing things a little drier and also sort of focusing on the comedy of failure.
And I see a total direct line between that and my town hall appearance in the movie.
Its the same shit, you know?
And I dont think youd ever call Christopher Guest or any of those guys anti-humor or anti-comedy.
Its just a different way of doing it.
I dont think thats what this is at all.
The New YorkTimesis gonna use shortcuts to describe things for their audience that they might not understand.
But our director Eric said, Could have been worse.
They could have called you a humorist, which is worse than being an anti-humorist.
