Look out#TeamPetebecause us Bloomberg Heads have our own dance!
It was funny, yes, but it was also a little scary.
Vulture spoke with both of the comedians to find out, well, everything.
So we played that, and then we were like, We want to make our own dance.
We practiced it with the crowd a couple of times.
They were pretty gung ho and excited to do it for the most part.
Nick Ciarelli:We had to do a couple takes of people doing it.
Brad:People kept fucking it up.
Were going topost the song online laterso you might play it at home and do the dance.
Brad: But we didnt think it would getthismany views.
A lot of people were quote-tweeting and responding to it being like You guys are freaks!
or We live in hell or that kind of shit.
Whens that picture of you from?
Its a perfect picture.Nick: I think I was like 22 maybe?
I was like, Im just going to dress nicer!
or whatever for my profile picture for Google Plus or whatever the fuck.
Brad:Its such a Young Republican-y pic.
Yours is good, too, Brad.Brad:Oh, thank you.
Im 16 in mine.
These seem like good guys.
The Bloomberg campaign’s overreaction caused these guys both to lose their $6,000/month staff position.
Pretty upsetting.#DropOutBloombergpic.twitter.com/jBsX4rH2Jd
Who says Bloomberg in the song?Brad:I think its Nick.
Apparently NOT a parody.https://t.co/wbULMblPed
Brad: But we really didnt think it would trick people.
If you just scrolled down past the video, my entire feed is just Watch my comedy video!
Come to my comedy show!
Nick:We didnt go through or delete any tweets or recent things.
I had tweets about the U.K. election and Corbyn and stuff its pretty easy to see.
Were not trying to dupe anyone that much.
Like … That doesnt make any sense!
So that was very weird.
Brad:Its blatantly a joke!
The campaign wouldnt dryly dub someone saying Bloomberg over the song Moves Like Jagger!
Its like their objective is more to just share and retweet shit and get fucking traction for that stuff.
But then these New YorkTimespeople and other folks are just buying into the thing.
I think they were the one news site that just took it at face value.
Not sure why Breitbart took this article down.
I usually don’t read them, but they were the only outlet to accurately report this story.
To clarify,@NickCiarelliis not an intern for our campaign.
I mean, it makes sense for them to distance themselves from Nick.
Nicks not in the video, he was holding the camera.
And also, what does move like Bloomberg mean?
Is he saying its an insult that he doesnt dance like Mike Bloomberg?
Its just a stupid bad dance that sucks.
So excited this intern position suddenly opened up.
#DropOutBloomberg was trending No.
1 in Los Angeles for a few hours, and it was trending worldwide.
Thats Nicks and my goal: to teach journalists to use Google.
So when are you two getting your own show?Brad:I dont know!
Were developing some stuff with different production companies.
Nothings close to happening right now.
The kind of comedy you do lives best on social media.
Nick:Breitbart got to have fun with it.
Brad:They got to laugh and think they were better than these people who thought it wasnt real.
