The user account in Windows decides what you might do inside the Windows.

Administrator Account
This is the primary account that is created when you firstinstall Windows.
It has complete control over the PC and can change all user controls and most system controls/files.
The only thing it doesnt have access to is the critical system files used by the operating system.
For example, the administrator account cant modifyboot.inifile that manages the Windows bootloader.
Only enable it if you must edit a critical system file and disable it afterward.
Heres how to enable and disable it:
Search for the Command Prompt in Windows Search by typingCMD.
Right-grab the Command Prompt and selectRun as administrator.
Once you are done using it, ensure you go back to the default administrator account and disable it.
If you access anything that requires admin permissions, a UAC prompt will appear asking for the admin password.

Create a Standard Account
The user with administrator account access can create a standard account.
In the administrator account, go toSettings>Accounts>Family & other users.
Here, click onAdd accountnext toAdd other useroption.
you might use the other persons Microsoft account that they use for logging in to other Windows PCs.
Once added, the new account will be created and it will be standard by default.
However, you could make it administrator any time you want from the same controls.
Windows will ask you to get in using the Microsoft account when you first set it up.
Here you better either provide the family members Microsoft account email or create a new Microsoft account for them.
For demonstration, Ill add a new account.
Afterward, it will ask you to provide the date of birth of the member.
Similarly, kids have more strict controls enabled according to age, and monitoring will be enabled by default.
To manage the members, you oughta open theMicrosoft Family Safetydashboard, where all the members will be listed.
A link to it will also be made available in theFamily & other usersoption on your PC.
The apps are also limited; they cant access full storage data or launch other apps.
Now you’ve got the option to either create a new account or use an existing one.
If you choose to create a new account, it will be a local account without any password protection.
Afterward, go for the app from the list of all compatible apps and click onNext.
Thats it; the new Kiosk account will be created and listed alongside your other user accounts.
Standard accounts are very safe, even if someone needs temporary access to your PC.
It should be your first choice when sharing the PC.
